Access to reports and other features are using local vs. domain credentials
Hello,
If I Run a report it will prompt me for user credentials within SCCM 2007. I am an Enterprise Admin with full SCCM credentials. This also occurs if I click Software updates, click a patch, then scroll over to % compliant also to launch a
web report.
Noticed that it is looking for server.domain\username and should be
domain\username If I manually change to
domain\username I can access. Where can this be configured to default to
domain\username so this doesn't have to be manually changed everytime? Seems like an IIS setting due to generating reports.
Thank you!

Has nothing to do with IIS. Your client is supplying those values.
If you add the reporting server to the local intranet zone, your credntials will get passed without being prompted.Jason | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jsandys | Twitter @JasonSandys

Http://localhost and
https://localhost are already in the Local Intranet Security setting within IE
I'll get You are not authorized to view this page due to invalid authentication headers.
Requested URL http://server:80/SMSReporting_SITE/Report.ASP
C:\inetpub\wwwroot\SMSReporting_SITE\Report.ASP
Logon method not yet determined
Logon user not yet determined
Module IIS Web core
Notification AuthenticateReq
Handler ASPClassic
Error Code 0x80070005
Server Error in Application "Default Web Site/SMSReporting_SITE"
Double checked permissions within IIS for SMSReporting_SITE and Full access for SCCM Admins, Administrator, and SYSTEM. Again am an Enterprise Admin and in the SCCM admin group.
Connect As is set for Application User (pass-through authentication)
Application pool is set to DefaultAppPool
Have confirmed that SERVER$ has READ access to the local path
C:\inetpub\wwwroot\SMSReporting_SITE\Report.ASP
Still Prompts for Username and password?

Enterprise Admin has no bearing, that's a permission for AD, not ConfigMgr or reporting. The SMS Reporting Group controls permissions into Reporting itself.
The URL above says "server". Is that in the local Intranet zone?Jason | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jsandys | Twitter @JasonSandys
