Access to remote.domain
Hi to all, I have a question regarding my network and access to remote.domain.com from remote location. I created Sharepoint and it is working well from whitin organization. I created A record =remote on ISP DNS, my network is like this ISP----router1------------W2k8R2 RRAS------------------inner network with DC ..... I opened on router 1 987 port and forwardet to w2k8R2 and there again I forwarded to DC. Is that ok or I can just forward it directly to DC. Sharepoint is still not accessible from outside.

Hi, you need to make sure that you can access the sharePoint site IP + port + host name. You need to make sure that you can access the SharePoint Server. Cheers,Daniel Bugday Web: SharePoint Forum Blog: SharePoint By Bugday

It is not working, unfortunately I don't know what is written in DNS of ISP. I said them to create A host record =remote, for our public IP address, and srv record for autodiscover. I think that I am bumping on my router. I made port exception in firewall, and NAT ,but I am still getting error and logon screen of , at least I think, my router.

I managed to solve the problem it was about a lot of NAT forwarding so I have now second problem I can now login, RWW shows up and I have all options but now suddenly I havo another problems. 1st OWA is taking too many time to shows up, actually I didn't want to wait after 10 min. (but I mus admit since I had a lot of problems I didn't install any of updates so I read that that is solved by installing updates), 2nd internal website won't show. It shows error. I managed to get info from opera that there is some authentication problem error.
