Access to each Folder or Subfolder
Hi Experts,
We have our Report Server hireracy as below link:-
caps are folders and subfolders, R1-R2-etc are reports under each subfolders

We have 3 different groups with each members inside each group as follows:-
- DBA GROUP
a. Sunil
b. Mit
c. John
- DEVELOPER GROUP
a. Jigar
b. Eric
- APPLICATION GROUP
a. Paul
b. Jigar
c. Scott
I have 2 different problems here:-
First,
We want to give "Jigar" access to "BES" folder (HOME -> DW -> BES), if we add him than other members of the groups (Eric, Paul, Scott - as Jigar is member of two different groups) will also have access to "BES" folder,
WHICH WE DON'T WANT(Only "Jigar" should have access to "BES" folder). How to achieve it?
Second,
Suppose "DBA" Group has access to "BES" folder, so give access to "BES" folder we add "Jigar" to "DBA" group, but now "DBA" group has also access to "IT" folder,
but we don't want "Jigar" to have access to "IT" folder, how to achieve it?
Any help? Please let me know if you have any more questions.
Thanks in advance

I would configure an Item Level Role Assignment and pick what that role assignment is allowed to do. Then i would add jigar to the item (report or folder or datasource etc) and assign him that Item Level Role.
