Access to Site Settings but no Toolbar (nor reports)?
Dear all, I know my SSRS (2005) is working properly because it works for our Operations team who are administrators on most things... but not for me and I can't understand why. I can access SSRS and I see the top right corner items: "Home, My Subscriptions, Site Settings, Help" but I don't see the usual toolbar with the Content/Properties tab. What surprises me is that I do have access to the Site Settings and all Security options. I am part of the System Administrator role on the SSRS site... How come I can't see these reports and others can? What am I missing? Thanks Eric Eric Mamet _ MCDBA, SQL Server 2005 MCTS, MCAD .Net

Hi Eric, Even if you have already been part of the administrator in system level, which does not mean you have the permission to access the report item, so please ask your original administrator to configure site-wide security for you, site-wide security is in site settings tab. Steps are: Site Settings. --> Configure site-wide security. --> New Role Assignment. Then type in the group or user ->Then check System User. Then click OK. If the issue still exist, please feel free to let us know. Thanks, Challen FuPlease remember to mark the replies as answers if they help and unmark them if they provide no help.

I have done this myself and I am now System User as well as System Administrator but I still can't see the normal folders...Eric Mamet _ MCDBA, SQL Server 2005 MCTS, MCAD .Net
