Can Any body confirm these Things: I have 2 folders (A and B). in report manager and has 2 reports in each folder (C1,D1 in folder A and C2,D2 in folder B) So i want to give a Access to an user DTC\123 to report C1 report in folder A. And he was suppose to see only that Report under Folder A.

I tried that i just added him to that Report C1 under the Folder A But while that user logged in he cannot any thing and getting error message User ' DTC\123' does not have required permissions. Verify that sufficient permissions have been granted and Windows User Account Control (UAC) restrictions have been addressed

I saw that.. But you know when i go and add this user in SITE SETTINGS as a system user he will be able to access every thing..But the Thing is in that way he can see all the Reports.

Hi Vani23, Generally, we should assign an item-level role for users so that they have the permission access to the Report Manager and view reports. By default, the sub-items will inherit the parent folder access permission. Based on your requirements, you just need to assign an item-level role for the user on the specific report. Then, users can through a URL access the specific report. Please note that the user have no permission access to Home folder and the parent folder of the report.
