Hello ,We have a question about the FIM Service Management AgentWe use a Database on a remote SQL server.The database is provided in a named instance We try the following Settings:Server : SQL-dervername/instanceDatabase: Database name (FIMService)FIM Adress: HTTP://Hostname of the FIM Service ServerBut we get an error message “That the database cannot be found”What is the correct syntax for the connection, if the database is in a different Instance than the default instance? many thanks in advance

OK, I just hit a scenario where I couldn't connect with the correct paths. The culprit? McAfee Enterprise 8.7.0i. The solution? Exclude the Program Files\Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager\2010\Synchronization Service\Bin\miiserver.exe. The other MA's I setup (AD,ADLDS & Notes) didn't have a problem. An hour of my life I'll never get back. :-( Eric
