i have configured Request Access and selected allow access requests and out going email info in central admin.

however i am not able to see Access request and invitation link under site settings of site collection.

I see access request link ,when i submit Request Access  it is sitting in root site.

how to route to Site collection. help is appriciated

SharePoint Users and Groups are rooted within the Site Collection rootweb (that is if someone requested access at http://webapp/sites/team/project, "team" being the Site Collection, that is where the Access Request would reside).

In my case it is not residing in Team queue. Request are going to web app/root. Where can I find setting to route to Team site collection.

Are you _sure_ you're dealing with a Site Collection at "Team"? Can you do a Get-SPSite on the Team URL?

I did Get-SPSite i get output same "TEAM" sitecollection and 15 and compatibility level.

when I request access from "TEAM" site collection its reside in root/Access%20Requests/pendingreq.aspx

Can you please help and let me know where were can i find settings to re-route requests.
