About sql server 2005
Hello I am santosh using SQL Server 2005 on my server HP ML-350 G5 with 16 Gb Ram.I problem is facing that this server to take long processing time for the quarry .So we are shift this to another server which configuration is that 48 core processor & 128 Gb Ram with Windows 2008 Enterprise 64 bit OS.But problem does not solved .to take long time processing the quarry . Please help me to solve the my problem . What is your process (roughly) doing? I guess it's a SSIS process. Are your packages well designed? Poorly disigned packages can dramaticly worsen the performance. There are a lot of design/performance best practices available on the web. give us more materials! did you tried a QUERY? a t-sql query? or a SSIS package? how did you developed the package? or how did you wrote the query? http://www.rad.pasfu.com
