Please avoid double postings; you just asked the same question in another thread. Approval: see ClientIDManagerStartup.log on the client and MP_RegistrationManager.log on the MP. It should only take a few seconds.Torsten Meringer | http://www.mssccmfaq.de

The client is failing to register with ConfigMgr. Is this happening with all clients? If so, what mode is your site in (I am assuming Mixed becaue you are asking about Approval). What result do you get when you run the MP Troubleshooter from the ConfigMgr Toolkit?John DeVito

Download the ConfigMgr 2007 Toolkit v2 from Microsoft. The tool is in there. Install it and run it. Get Toolkit here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=9257 Good blog: http://blogs.technet.com/b/configurationmgr/archive/2009/08/10/troubleshooting-issues-where-clients-are-not-reporting.aspxJohn DeVito

Try this link http://blogs.technet.com/b/configmgrteam/archive/2009/04/09/reassigning-a-configuration-manager-client-across-hierarchies.aspx I think you've answered his question. There is the question of a TRK which is Hierarchy specific, this mechanism exists to stop Clients from one Hierarchy wandering into another Hierarchy by mistake. And in ConfigMgr 2007 this has to be managed.
