AMT 802.X Certificate Alternate Subject Name

Hello,

Does someone now is it is possible to use the common name instead of the UPN as Alternate Subject Name in the 802.1X certificate ?

Our radius server requires a Common Name in the lternate Subject Name

Michel

My question is for Wired 802.1X

Seems that the DNS name requirement is the standard

For computer certificates, the Subject Alternative Name (SubjectAltName) extension in the certificate must contain the client's fully qualified domain name (FQDN), which is also called the DNS name.

So why SCCM requires UPN ?

No solution for this. I'll implement the intel SCS add-on in the next months.
