I have site with security group - Contributors for example.I add AD Group MyAD\Managers to Sharepoint group - Contributors.I see this AD group in list of Contributors users with type - Domain Group.But all users from this group can't access site.If i add user individually to Contributors - all works fine.I try to reproduce this behavior with local groups on other servers, all works fine too.Any idea what can be wrong with group MyAD\Managers or with Sharepoint, why users receive access denied ?Michael

I have a similar problem - Users assigned explicit access (ussername added directly from AD lookup) to SharePoint 2007 have access as expected. But when I use AD groups the user in that AD group can not get in. What is strange is that one user can get in. He once was explicit - I removed his explicit access and granted him acces via AD group and he gets in fine - but all other new users granted acces via AD - get access denied.Did you get an clues to this problem?Thanks,RC

I was wondering if anyone found an answer to this issue as I have encountered the same problems. Sometimes an IISRESET on both our SharePoint WFE and Application Server will solve the problem immediately, however that is not a valid solution. Thanks KenKenneth Clebak
