ADFS SSO with MOSS - getting 403 error
On Friday 5/1/2009 I was able to get our ADFS SSO with MOSS working and everything was great. For some reason it only worked until the next Tuesday and now are getting a 403 forbidden error. I have double check the web.config files and they look fine along with my username haveing proper permissions to the site. I can still get to the central admin and the default port 80 site. But when going to the 443 site it redirects to the adfs server, I can login and authenticate with the remote ADFS server, it then redirects me back to my ADFS server then trys to redirect to my MOSS server. Then it takes about 5 secs and gets the 403 error. Any reason this could have just started all of a sudden? Thanks for your help.

A few weeks back, a colleague of mine and myself had some issues with our VM's after installing windows updates. We could no longer log into our sites that had host header entries. A client of mine just pinged me the other day saying they can't get into their SSP now. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/926642 Method 2 in the article above work in all cases for me. Seems like some windows update did something that cause some of this stuff to stop working, your case could be similar. I am not sure what windows update broke it thoughTony Testa www.tonytestasworld.com
