It is already a windows font. SSRS can't be looking at the default windows font list as. If I go to MS Word there and 3 times as many fonts in there as there are in SSRS. It looks like it must use it's own font directory

We use standard Windows APIs for enumerating fonts. Does your desired font show up in the Fonts dialog in Notepad?

Hi All, I am having the same issue. I have the fonts in C:\Window\Font. I see them in Notepad, and Office but not SSRS. Any information would be helpful. Thanks, MarcMC

Please clarify what tool you are using--Report Designer in Visual Studio, or Report Builder 1.0/2.0/3.0?

I am using SSRS 2008. I just ran accros this post about outputting Open Type Fonts (which mine are). Not sure if this means there is trouble outputting the report or if this means that one can not even select them in BIDS. https://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/feedback/details/468876/ssrs-2008-font-type-support?wa=wsignin1.0\ Can one use Open Types in SSRS 2008 R2?MC

As noted in the Connect item, this is a .NET limitation and SSRS 2008 R2 uses same .NET runtime as SSRS 2008. So OpenType fonts would not be supported for either SSRS 2008 or R2.

Hi, I'm having a simular issue. I'm using a .TTF font to print barcodes. This works fine from Word and other textwriting software. It also works fine in design mode in Report Builder 3.0, also when I run the report. But if I run the report and click print layout, or if I print the document diretly from my code, the barcode-text was put back in Arial or something simular. I've checked, the EAN-13.TTF is installed and present in C:\Windows\Fonts\ Coul you please help me find a solutions since there's very little to find on the internet about this issue. Thank you, Kind regards, Lawrence
