ACT Connector Failed

Hi

I have a SCCM 2007 (Windows 2008 R2) on server A and database (SCCM) on server B (SQL 2005) . I have ACT (Windows 2008 R2)on server C and database (for ACT) on server D (SQL 2005).

I try to install a connector ACT on my server A but i error: "Error=Cannot open database "database on server B" requested by the login. The login failed"

My question: Why a connector try to connect on database on server B, i need to connect on server D (Database ACT)?

Thanks

Hi,

I have had similar problems, and using this vbscript to configure the connector solved it:

How to launch actconfig.vbs if ACT connector is not installed?

It can be caused by not registered SPN for SQL instance:

Yes, I know this is an old post, but Im trying to clean them up.

Did you solve this problem, if so what was the solution?

Since no one has answer this post, I recommend opening  a support case with CSS as they can work with you to solve this problem.
