I've recently had the joy of having our windows sharepoint services database server explode, and have had to restore a SQL (express) backup to another server. After a few hours of reading, I've managed to get the site up and running again - however... When I browse to our WSS site, I get 404 errors UNLESS I type in 'default.aspx' at the end of the url. e.g. http://intranet/ does not work, but http://intranet/default.aspx does. This applies to subsites also. Could anyone suggest a fix for this? Thank in advance.
