I have a brand new installation of Windows Server 2008 R2 with SQL Server 2008 SP1 with Cumulative Update 10 installed and WSUS running, when I try to install SCCM 2012 Beta2 it doesn't show me any errors when checking for problems, so I continue the install, when I get to the Begin installation part, it makes my SQL Server to crash and it won't install, also my SQL won't start after this crash. Any idea what this can be? Any idea if Microsoft is going to release this allowing the use of SQL Server 2008 R2? Thanks,

I'm pretty sure SQL 2008 R2 will be supported when the CM2012 is released in RTM. For problems related to CM2012, you should ask the question at connect.microsoft.com. Hello, Do you use service account for SQL Server ? I had this error and it was a problem with SQL Server. See Beta 2 supported configuration : "You must configure all SQL Server services (engine, agent, etc.) to run under the LOCAL SYSTEM account. If you use another account (e.g. NETWORK SERVICE or a domain user account), database replication will fail with certificate issues."
