2012 Alert Question
Greetings . . . can someone point me in the right direction? I would like to send alerts for different types of machines (SQL, DC, EXCHANGE) to different groups of administrators - no need to send all alerts out to all recipients . . . Much appreciated.dfkon

Hi, What you need to do is create groups based on requirement and have the subscription set accordingly, assuming you have email notification setup in your environment. Pls refer to below links for more info: Enable an E-mail Notification Channel if notification not setup Configuring Notifications - to include specific alerts from specific groups and classes http://blogs.technet.com/b/kevinholman/archive/2008/02/01/configuring-notifications-to-include-specific-alerts-from-specific-groups-and-classes.aspx Thanks, Varun
