2010 SharePoint Static URL in Workflow e-Mail

I simply want to fire a workflow to send an email to a user, thanking them for submitting a request. In the body of the email, I want to include a generic URL to a Helpdesk document that is in another library.

Within the body of my email, I thought I could click the hyperlink icon and in the "Text to display" line enter; HelpLink and for the Address, enter the document URL. I save/publish the workflow. Make a test entry and I receive an email with the HelpLink as shown in blue and underlined as a typical hyperlink. However, I cannot click on it. It does nothing. I've tried adding <a href=..." and all that does is show my code.

What am I missing?

Found the answer. Went to my workflow in Designer. Highlighted the email entry and selected advanced properties from the Ribbon. Edited the code by adding the <a href="myURLhere">LINK</a> statement. Saved and it worked.
