1 Certificate (SSL) to multiple web servers
Hi, I have 1 SSL registered to for a FQDN. (example: Test.abc123.com) I have 2 WFE servers -server A and server B (no Load Balancer). The case is I created a new web application, and new IP addresses has been assigned to this web application. xxx.xxx.xxx.101 - Server A xxx.xxx.xxx.102 - Server B May I know can a same certificate assign to these 2 WFE-Server A and Server B server? If yes, anything to take care? Thanks Regards Jason

You can not use one SSL sertificate on two different servers. You have to use NLB for that. Oleg

If you are going to use Microsoft NLB you have to install one SSL certificate on two WFE and assign Test.abc123.com in DNS to NLB Cluster IP. If you are going to use hardware NLB usually you have to install SSL certificate on hardware box too.Oleg
